The Zionist Organization of America invites you to join acclaimed speaker and human rights activist, Hillel Neuer for a compelling lecture and discussion on UN bias towards Israel and current problems within the global human rights movement. Originally from Montreal, Mr. Neuer is an international lawyer, diplomat, writer, expert witness, and activist who serves as the Executive Director of UN Watch. UN Watch is a human rights NGO and watchdog group based in Geneva, Switzerland. As one of the world's foremost human rights activists, Mr. Neuer has advocated for Darfur victims at the United Nations, political prisoners in Cuba, victims of torture in nations throughout Africa and Asia, Lebanese victims of Syrian political assassinations, and against the rape and enslavement of women in Syria and Iraq. He has also been outspoken and critical of the UN Human Rights Council regarding their one-sided bias, delegitimization, and demonization directed against one UN member state - Israel. In 2014, The Jerusalem Post described Mr. Neuer as a man who "struggles valiantly and successfully to expose the truth about human rights as practiced in the United Nations and other so-called civil rights NGOs".

RSVP is required for attendance.  Please RSVP at the link at www.westcoast.zoa.org or by email to dkadosh@zoa.org.

This program is sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America, West Coast.  Contact David Kadosh for sponsor opportunities, 925-750-7590.

Protecting our Families, Communities and First-Responders from Terrorism— Advice from an Israeli Security Expert

ZOA West Coast is hosting veteran Israeli security expert, Marc Provisor, for a series of presentations throughout Northern California for Zionists of all faiths and our local law enforcement, at all levels. The programs share a common theme of exploring Israeli security best practices in countering the threat from radical Islamic terrorism.

Marc Provisor is a security expert from Israel's Samaria Region and currently serves as a Security Consultant focusing on Counter Terror Mitigation. He was personally involved in combating terrorist attacks at "ground level" on a daily basis as the Chief Army Security Coordinator in the region from 1996 through 2006. His counter-terror skills earned him recognition from the Israeli security establishment, including the Award of Excellence and Valor from the IDF Central Command General. He has also provided counsel to the United States Department of Homeland Security and continues to lecture on various security and counter-terror issues facing security professionals today. Marc's unique firsthand experiences and expertise have led him to formulate the views that he shares during his critically important presentations. Marc continues to work with various organizations in the field of Security and Emergency Response against terror.

The intent of this educational program is to help us protect ourselves from the devastating global spread of the terrorism which threatens Israel, the Middle East, and Western countries.
